Semi-Private Strength Training
Semi-private training gives you the personalized coaching you need—with the added motivation of a small group setting. Each person follows a scalable training program tailored to their needs and goals. You’ll receive individualized coaching and attention in a supportive, shared environment.
Youth Athlete development
We help young athletes build strong foundations—because the broader the base, the higher the peak for overall athletic potential. Our age-appropriate training emphasizes mastering the fundamentals of strength training through proper form, mobility and strengthening through full range of motion to support healthy movement and reduce injury risk. Your child will gain confidence, body awareness, and long-term athletic potential they can build on for years to come.

Founded by strength coach Jess Velarde, Pearland Strength Club was built on the belief that everyone deserves to feel strong, capable, and confident in their body—no matter where they’re starting from.
We specialize in intelligent, structured strength training that prioritizes proper movement, progressive programming, and long-term development. Our approach is educational, supportive, and inclusive—whether you’re a beginner, a seasoned lifter, a youth athlete, or someone returning to training after time away.

HI!! I’m Jess! I started Pearland Strength Club because I believe strength training should feel welcoming and inclusive, not intimidating. After 15 years of coaching clients whose ages span from 11 to 80 years old, I’ve seen firsthand how building strong foundations changes lives at every stage! My focus is on teaching proper movement, creating purposeful programs that progress appropriately, and helping people gain confidence they can carry into every part of life! Whether you’re brand new to strength training, an established lifter wanting to feel even stronger, a pregnant or postpartum mom trying to figure it out, someone navigating pain or recovering from injury, or an athlete chasing performance, I’ll meet you exactly where you are and help you move forward, building skills and achieving results that will last a lifetime.
